Living in Burlingame, Richard Trost's artistic work began in charcoals and oil painting in the early 2000's. Later, he found his true calling at the potters wheel. Working in clay allowed him to combine his natural dexterity with his creative spirit, and his passion for the exotic. The result is a collection of exquisite works informed by ancient Japanese Raku methods and more contemporary designs. Richards works have been featured in international shows and are acclaimed through the Bay Area.
