Not the poet. Frame is 50” x 32”, has a small chip in finish on top. Painted on wood of a huge carnival or perhaps a county fair. This painting is my favorite thing in this entire auction. Some information about the artist is available:

The buckle is silver plate on copper, although I really thought it was sterling. In its center us a silver dollar from 1889.

 First, the most fabulous lime with cream trim suit from Allumette of Paris, size small. This is the only one where the waist in the skirt has a zipper so definitely smaller. The next three all have elastic waists. Second is an olive green wool knit, short sleeve sweater and matching skirt, perfect for the secretarial pool. Skirt has elastic waist and top looks larger. Third is a matching blouse and skirt in a green psychedelic pattern. Last is a MCM pattern with yellow and more colors.
