The exhibition consisted of 44 paintings and works on paper from 1955 to December 1976  just a month before the artists death The paintings ranged from small to very large and included a number of late works that had not previously been exhibited. The drawings came from Bushs studio and had never been shown publicly, nor was it generally known that they existed.
