A classic mid-century Clairtone console stereo unit, model 180-005-00, manufactured in the late 1950s in Canada at Clairtones Rexdale, Ontario facility. Features:Garrard Turntable: Includes a functional Garrard turntable with settings for 16, 33, 45, and 78 RPM records. The turntable allows for automatic sequential playout, enabling listeners to stack multiple records on the central spindle for uninterrupted listening. It needs a new needle. AM/FM Radio: Fully transistorized chassis with original dial and controls intact. Below the radio panel is a deep well for convenient storage of record albums. It is lined with red velour.Classic Mid-Century Design: Elegant wooden cabinet with a lattice-style speaker grill on green fabric, large lifting lid central access, and rich wood finish. Water damage on the right side of the top surface. A potted plant leaked through a doily and that leak was not detected for some time. Inspection & Certification: Original Clairtone label with UL certification and model number clearly displayed.Quality wheels. This unit is as easy to wheel around as a skateboard.
