Ken Broadland Birdseye Cedar Salt & Pepper Shakers Ken Broadland worked as aConservation Officer on southernVancouver Island for 29 years before retiring in 2002. He started woodturning as a hobby in 1991 and since then he has sold his work at many retail outlets and craft fairs onsouthern Vancouver Island. The Salt and Pepper shakers are made from birds-eye yellow cedar. The grain, and markings are quite remarkable. Both are signed and labeled by Ken.
