Three framed and matted signed watercolor prints. One with a painted white frame (scratches on frame) and two with original wood frames. Signed Horning by artist Elizabeth J. Horning. Elizabeth Horning was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She graduated with a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1965. As an undergraduate, she received a Royal Bailey Farnum Scholarship and grants from the Ford as well as the Carnegie Foundation. Horning’s career started as an art teacher. She created and put into practice elaborate art programs for the elementary schools of Franklin, New Hampshire. Around 1973 Horning moved to the South West and from there she continues to paint to this day. Since her relocation her talents have allowed her to work in many different positions while still allowing her to express herself artistically. She has worked as an illustrator, commercial artist, as well as a designer to name a few.
