Lot of 2 Handmade Quilts Partially Embroidered Strawberry Textile Includes two (2) large handmade quilts: One vintage patchwork quilt with colorful zigzag pattern known as “Thread Spools” or “Spools and Ribbons.” Popular in the 1930s–1950s, often using feedsack or repurposed fabric, the quilt blocks resemble old-fashioned wooden thread spools, with the narrow “waist” of the spool showing the “thread” part. The alternating colors create a zigzag or ribbon effect, which gives the quilt a dynamic and textured appearance. Backed in a contrasting solid fabric; measures approx. 80" x 67".
