This first pull is signed and numbered 1/25, titled "Business as Usual." Fish in shades of blue and teal and turquoise swim around, avoiding the several hooks in their midst. Teri Malo is a Massachusetts artist, working in a variety of mediums including print, pastel, oil. Though undated, this appears to be an early work, as she is focusing on pastels and oils these days. A graduate of Emmanuel College and UMass Amherst, her works have been collected by the DeCordova Museum, Newport Art Museum, and are in various corporate and private collections. Matted and framed under glass in an oak frame, with some slight foxing to the matte. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

Pair Small Tables and Hand-woven Wool Tapestry

Tighe O'Donoghue of Ross (1942-2023) was born and schooled in New York City, served in the US Air Force, worked for Doubleday Publishing, illustrated several books, taught art, lived off the grid with his wife and young son, and decided to claim his heritage as hereditary Chief of Loch Lein, relocating to County Kerry, Ireland, where he trained his children as his apprentices, and created several monumental sculptures for what became known as The Sculpture Road to Killarney. Whew. He was at home in a wide variety of mediums, including painting, sculpture, watercolor, stained glass, and printmaking. This pair of aquatints focuses on recurring motifs in his prints: musical instruments, geometric shapes, objects from nature. His works are held in the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Brooklyn Art Museum, the Smithsonian National Collection of Fine Art, and the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris, among many others. Signed in the print and signed and numbered, in pencil, in the border. Matted and framed under glass; one print has slipped a bit and needs to be repositioned.&nbsp;

Richly hued prayer rug is hand-loomed and knotted. We believe this may be of Caucasian origin, possibly Kazak, due to its minimalist design and open field. The traditional "mihrab" or arched doorway motif is seen at either end of the field, with a large central medallion. Triple borders surround the field, with silky fringe at either end. Likely wool, possibly blended with silk. Some fading to one end, and two small stains, as shown. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;

Delicately detailed scrolls and florals, matted and framed in a gold wood frame, 18.5"W X 21"H. The shapes are echoed in the pair of brass sconces. Two arms hold electric lights with candle sleeves (all need replacement), plus bows, swags, and tassels. Need to be rewired.&nbsp;<span style"font-size: 1rem;">10"W X 15"H X 5"D. A most impressive and unusual pair of mirrors. The framing is stately - uniformly gilded wooden strips, rope-like dowels, and raised blocks form a nautical style "chain" applied over a "splattered" blue-black glass base border which reflects and accentuates the double framing. Straddling both a classical, almost Jacobean style, these mirrors could also easily grace a modern minimalist hallway. Probably oak. Un-beveled glass. Artist, ceramicist, writer, teacher, cartoonist, and firebrand, he revitalized this pottery with his work based on many motifs from nature.
