Hamilton Lancaster Clock Model 22 marine chronometer, a collectible timepiece used during World War II by the U.S. Navy and Army. It features a 2.5-inch dial signed &#34;Hamilton, Lancaster, PA., U.S.A.&#34;. 
The movement typically has 21 jewels and is adjusted for temperature and six positions. 
It was designed to be highly accurate, with some examples proving accurate to within 1.55 seconds per day. 
The chronometer is mounted in a gimbal within a wooden case, which allows it to remain level despite the motion of a ship. In original wooden case. Not tested by Storia Auctions.
