1x111 Custom Handmade 'Sour Diesel' Sneakers

Handmade "Lemonhead" sneakers by Denver-based artist and luxury customizer 1x111, featuring vibrant yellow and olive-green leather, an integrated blue lining, and the original custom candy box wrapper packaging. Men’s size 8.5. Previously worn.
Because these are entirely hand-constructed, independent custom art pieces rather than a standard commercial release, 1x111 has never disclosed the exact number of pairs created.
However, given the intensive process required to build them from scratch and customize the packaging, his signature sneaker releases are typically limited to an extremely small run of unique pairs.

An official, typewritten letter dated January 21, 1971, from Major John R. Cox, commander of the 7th Psychological Operations Battalion in Da Nang, South Vietnam. Comes with its original official business mailing envelope.

Instead of just a generic update, this letterhead actually spells out the unconventional propaganda war—describing their mission to drop leaflets and run loudspeaker campaigns. It is a rare piece of military ephemera because it openly details "Vietnamization" right as the US was trying to train South Vietnamese forces to take over the printing presses and political warfare operations.

This book has incredible provenance!

A late-Victorian collection of James Montgomery's poetry. Originally printed in London by Wyman & Sons, it traveled to South America where it received a luxury, custom half-leather binding by the master craftsmen at Typographia Mattoso in Juiz de Fora, Brazil.
The flyleaf features the sweeping fountain-pen signature of Dr. J. E. MacMillan, D.D.S., a prominent expatriate dentist practicing in Brazil at the turn of the century. MacMillan had his personal copy of British poetry custom-bound by a specialized Portuguese-language bookbindery in Brazil, who customized the leather spine with his exact matching gold initials.
Finding 19th-century English poetry sets with localized South American artisan provenance is exceptionally rare!
