Lot #161614: Vintage CRT Television Transformer Assembly, Socket & Brooks CRT Brightener

Assorted vintage television and electronic repair components comprising a metal transformer/power-supply chassis, wired socket or harness and a Brooks Industries yellow “4-in-One” 110-degree CRT Brightener. The metal assembly contains a large laminated transformer, metal-can capacitor, power resistor, wiring and plug-type connector. Its original manufacturer, application and electrical specifications are unknown. The Brooks CRT brightener was designed to connect to a compatible cathode-ray television picture tube to boost brightness from a weakened CRT. Components exhibit dust, oxidation, surface rust, discoloration and age-related wiring wear. Untested; completeness and working condition are unknown. No attempt should be made to energize the assembly without inspection by a qualified technician, as vintage capacitors can retain an electrical charge. Sold as vintage repair parts or restoration components. Please review photographs for connectors, markings and condition. Pickup category timeslot {A}
