Rare early-1970s Yamaha EM-130 six-channel powered mixer, made in Japan. This distinctive vintage unit combines a compact analogue mixer, built-in spring reverb/echo and a built-in analogue automatic-rhythm drum machine. I tested this device extensively and cleaned the pots as best as I could. The drum machine sounds awesome. The spring reverb works great. All six channels work, also channel 1 is a bit finicky (probably an easy fix). The only significant issue I could find is that is I can only get mono output, not stereo. I'm not sure how easy that fix is though. All in all, this is a great vintage device that sounds awesome. Features include: Six mixer channels with balance, reverb/echo, treble, bass and volume controls Built-in spring reverb/echo Analogue Auto Rhythm section with 2 Beat, Waltz, Swing, Slow Rock, Jazz Rock, Rhumba, Bossa Nova and Tango patterns Tempo and rhythm-volume controls Built-in tuner Left/right analogue VU meters Master reverb/echo and master-volume controls Heavy vintage Yamaha construction with classic 1970s styling A great piece for a studio, keyboard rig, vintage PA setup, dub/lo-fi effects chain or experimental music setup. Shows normal cosmetic wear from age, as pictured. - Yamaha mixer / small PA console, 5-6 channels - Built-in echo/reverb and auto rhythm/drum patterns - VU level meters for monitoring - 1/4" instrument inputs and RCA record out/line outputs - Vintage/retro studio equipment (1970s-1980s) - Used - fair; surface scratches and scuffs Pickup category timeslot {A}
