Description
A vintage 1970s Marvel Comics advertising or novelty collage poster celebrating Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian. The poster features a dense, chaotic montage of overlapping comic book action panels, battle scenes, and character portraits compiled from the landmark early-1970s bronze-age comic run. The artwork showcases the distinctive, dynamic line work of legendary comic book illustrators Barry Windsor-Smith and John Buscema. Printed in a stylized two-tone palette of warm sepia tones and contrasting deep teal-green ink. Housed in a simple black metal frame under protective glass.
Condition Report
• Overall: Very Good vintage condition.
• Paper & Print: The print retains sharp linework and shows an even, honest golden-tan patina consistent with vintage paper age. No major fading, large water stains, or visible tearing to the main field.
• Frame: Minimal surface wear to the black metal framing edges. Glass is intact without deep scratches or cracks. (Note: Not inspected out of the frame).
