Lot #11: Authentic Hand-Knotted Signed Persian Tree of Life Rug

authentic hand-knotted Persian Varamin wool rug featuring a highly desirable, symbolic Tree of Life design. The central field boasts a rich rose-pink / coral ground decorated with a flowering weeping tree motif, stylized floral sprays, and geometric bird figures. The central scene is framed beautifully by an elegant ivory-ground main border filled with intricate floral cartouches and scrolling vines. A highly valuable feature of this specific rug is the workshop signature woven directly into the guard border (visible in the close-up photos), denoting its master-crafted origin from a professional weaving house. The reverse side demonstrates excellent, tight knotting infrastructure characteristic of fine regional weaving. This rug features a thick, soft wool pile that offers wonderful durability and comfort underfoot.
