Lot #12: Vintage Persian Malayer Runner Rug Salmon Pink & Charcoal Black Geometric Herati Rug

Hand-knotted Vintage Persian Malayer runner rug. Crafted by skilled village weavers in west-central Iran, this piece displays a continuous, highly detailed all-over Herati (Mahi) grid pattern layered across a beautifully faded salmon pink and muted coral backdrop. The delicate geometric floral clusters are beautifully framed by stark charcoal black and deep indigo outlines, anchored by a matching narrow geometric border. Hand-woven with dense, high-quality mountain wool on a robust cotton foundation, this runner remains stable and durable. It is an ideal size to bring sophisticated historical depth, subtle color contrast, and cozy old-world character to an entryway, bedroom landing, or kitchen galley floor. • Design & Pattern: It features an elegant, all-over repeating Herati or Mahi grid pattern (stylized concentric geometric floral clusters interspersed with tiny serrated leaf shapes). • Color Palette: Showcases a beautifully aged and sought-after salmon pink or muted coral field, offset by rich charcoal black, deep indigo blue, and olive green accents. • Condition: showing some minor wear due to its age.
