Description: A beautiful depiction of a raven in flight crossing over. Life or escaping the wire pen is unknown. Monoprint is an art style where oil paint is applied directly to a single-use plate then applied to the material.
Artist: Rita Chavez (1951 - ) is a known Seattle, Washington Mexican-American artist known for her fantastic and fabled animal artwork in the use of a number of materials. Originally from South Dakota, Rita received a Bachelor of Arts from South Dakota University in 1973 in pursuit of her greatest passion, creating wondrous abstract artwork. Many of Chavezs works are included in the Nettie Lee Latin American Collection and cherished by private collectors.
Condition: The image is in excellent condition floating in a fine frame intentionally exposing the rough fibers along the edges. The frame is in very good condition with only minor marks from previous ownership. The display is glass and in excellent condition. The verso is in excellent condition with the Production Art & Framing label affixed.
Provenance: This piece was purchased from an auction house in Lacey, Washington. No prior ownership is known.

Policies for Pickup
1. Buyers MUST wear a MASK.
2. Buyers MUST show a copy of your PAID INVOICE (either paper or on your phone).
3. All buyers with invoices over $300 must be prepared to show a photo ID and the credit card used on file before items will be released.
4. No children or animals are allowed on site, as moving furniture and heavy items can be dangerous.
5. Washrooms are not available for use.
6. By departing from the site, you agree that you have all the correct items and are satisfied with them. Before leaving the site please discuss any issues with the MaxSold team lead or the Seller/Representative (for Seller Managed Sales where no MaxSold staff are present).
7. MaxSold team members do not have packing materials and are not allowed to carry or load your purchased items. Please have adequate supplies and help to safely remove your purchases.

Policies for Pickup
Pickup time windows are fixed and limited. You will be required to select a pickup window prior to the auction pickup. Please be sure to select a time slot that you are certain you will be able to attend. Alternate pickup times may or may not be accommodated and if accommodated may result in additional fees.
Claims for refunds can be made only in certain limited circumstances. Where an error in the lot description has occurred on an item you purchased, let the seller (or their representative) know immediately upon pickup so that it may be rectified. Except for limited circumstances, refunds are subject to processing fees.
MaxSold does not arrange shipping; however, you can make your own arrangements at your own risk.
Current bids cannot be changed or removed once submitted and each one is a promise that you will honour the bid and all the terms.
