Description: A wonderful depiction of a young hispanic girl with a lollipop sitting at a school desk by the well known and listed artist Jose Maria De Servin. This oil on burlap painting has wonderful colors in the original wood frame.
Artist: Jose Maria De Servin (1917-1983) was a student of Mexicos Schools of Open-Air Painting, later studying under Chucho Reyes and then Jose Vizcarra. De Servine assisted the social realist Jose Orozco in several large commissions in Guadalajara, including the Legislative Palace. Jose Maria was largely influenced by Pablo Picassos cubism style during his boldest independent times that were presented at many one-man shows in North America and Europe. Later in life De Servine taught art classes at the University of Arizona.
Condition: The painting is in very good condition with distinguishable colors. The frame is older and simple with some wear with a painted accent surround.
Provenance: This piece was purchased from a charitable auction in Austin, Texas. No prior ownership is known.

Policies for Pickup
1. Buyers MUST wear a MASK.
2. Buyers MUST show a copy of your PAID INVOICE (either paper or on your phone).
3. All buyers with invoices over $300 must be prepared to show a photo ID and the credit card used on file before items will be released.
4. No children or animals are allowed on site, as moving furniture and heavy items can be dangerous.
5. Washrooms are not available for use.
6. By departing from the site, you agree that you have all the correct items and are satisfied with them. Before leaving the site please discuss any issues with the MaxSold team lead or the Seller/Representative (for Seller Managed Sales where no MaxSold staff are present).
7. MaxSold team members do not have packing materials and are not allowed to carry or load your purchased items. Please have adequate supplies and help to safely remove your purchases.

Policies for Pickup
Pickup time windows are fixed and limited. You will be required to select a pickup window prior to the auction pickup. Please be sure to select a time slot that you are certain you will be able to attend. Alternate pickup times may or may not be accommodated and if accommodated may result in additional fees.
Claims for refunds can be made only in certain limited circumstances. Where an error in the lot description has occurred on an item you purchased, let the seller (or their representative) know immediately upon pickup so that it may be rectified. Except for limited circumstances, refunds are subject to processing fees.
MaxSold does not arrange shipping; however, you can make your own arrangements at your own risk.
Current bids cannot be changed or removed once submitted and each one is a promise that you will honour the bid and all the terms.
