Description: A personal favorite from my personal collection, this smoking older gentleman cheerfully looks on as the crowd admires from a short distance away. Masterly completed pencil and charcoal sketch brings joy at the confidence of the subject. Pencil signed Gregor and numbered 125/175.
Artist: This limited print is attributed (unverified) to known and listed artist Hryhorii (Gregor) Kruk (1911-1988). Ukrainian artist Gregor spent much of his life as a sculptor though produced several spontaneous portraits from time to time. These pieces have grown rare and hard to find, often retrieving very high bids at auction when they appear.
Condition: The Artwork is in excellent condition with only minor toning. The frame is in very good condition with only minor marks and scuffs. The glass display has some specks on the interior. Back paper is intact and in great condition with minor tears and lifting.
Provenance: Purchased from an auction house in Portland, Oregon several years ago. No previous ownership is known.

Policies for Pickup
1. Buyers MUST wear a MASK.
2. Buyers MUST show a copy of your PAID INVOICE (either paper or on your phone).
3. All buyers with invoices over $300 must be prepared to show a photo ID and the credit card used on file before items will be released.
4. No children or animals are allowed on site, as moving furniture and heavy items can be dangerous.
5. Washrooms are not available for use.
6. By departing from the site, you agree that you have all the correct items and are satisfied with them. Before leaving the site please discuss any issues with the MaxSold team lead or the Seller/Representative (for Seller Managed Sales where no MaxSold staff are present).
7. MaxSold team members do not have packing materials and are not allowed to carry or load your purchased items. Please have adequate supplies and help to safely remove your purchases.

Pickup time windows are fixed and limited. You will be required to select a pickup window prior to the auction pickup. Please be sure to select a time slot that you are certain you will be able to attend. Alternate pickup times may or may not be accommodated and if accommodated may result in additional fees.
Claims for refunds can be made only in certain limited circumstances. Where an error in the lot description has occurred on an item you purchased, let the seller (or their representative) know immediately upon pickup so that it may be rectified. Except for limited circumstances, refunds are subject to processing fees.
MaxSold does not arrange shipping; however, you can make your own arrangements at your own risk.
Current bids cannot be changed or removed once submitted and each one is a promise that you will honour the bid and all the terms.
