Description: An unfaded original photograph print of Morris Burke Parkinson. Cupid Awake and Cupid Asleep were the most famous of Burkes works leading to a larger series in the early 20th century. This original photo print is housed in the original frame with a billboard posted of a 1919 Broadway production of Look Whos Here as a backing board held in place by the original nails.
Artist: Morris Burke Parkinson (1847 - 1926) - An american photographer who became a national celebrity with his cupid photos of Jodephine Anderson, the four-year-old daughter of his close friend whom he often would babysit.
Condition: The image is in very good condition with minimal toning from age. The original handmade glass display is clear and unmarked. The frame is infair condition with wear to the carved surfaces and corners from prior ownership. The finial top is secure but loose. The verso is in good condition.
Provenance: This piece was purchased from a charitable organization in Lacey, Washington.

Policies for Pickup
1. Buyers MUST wear a MASK.
2. Buyers MUST show a copy of your PAID INVOICE (either paper or on your phone).
3. All buyers with invoices over $300 must be prepared to show a photo ID and the credit card used on file before items will be released.
4. No children or animals are allowed on site, as moving furniture and heavy items can be dangerous.
5. Washrooms are not available for use.
6. By departing from the site, you agree that you have all the correct items and are satisfied with them. Before leaving the site please discuss any issues with the MaxSold team lead or the Seller/Representative (for Seller Managed Sales where no MaxSold staff are present).
7. MaxSold team members do not have packing materials and are not allowed to carry or load your purchased items. Please have adequate supplies and help to safely remove your purchases.

Pickup time windows are fixed and limited. You will be required to select a pickup window prior to the auction pickup. Please be sure to select a time slot that you are certain you will be able to attend. Alternate pickup times may or may not be accommodated and if accommodated may result in additional fees.
Claims for refunds can be made only in certain limited circumstances. Where an error in the lot description has occurred on an item you purchased, let the seller (or their representative) know immediately upon pickup so that it may be rectified. Except for limited circumstances, refunds are subject to processing fees.
MaxSold does not arrange shipping; however, you can make your own arrangements at your own risk.
Current bids cannot be changed or removed once submitted and each one is a promise that you will honour the bid and all the terms.
