Description: A brilliant and unfaded signed and numbered (83/750) print of Salvador Dalis Cerberus from the 1957-1964 collection of The Divine Comedy. The collection of 100 paintings commissioned by the Italian government, based on Dantes iconic poem contains some of Dalis most popular and dynamic works of art. The government commission was ended prematurely due to public outcry for using a Spaniard for the historical work. Salvador pushed on and completed the works in 1964 spending the next five years hand-carving wooden blocks for later reproductions with the assistance of two engravers.
Artist: Signed Dali (1904 - 1989) - One of, if the one, most prolific surrealist artist known. Born in Figueres, Catalonia in Spain studied fine arts in Madrid being influenced by the early 20th century masters of renaissance and impressionism styles. Cubism was Dalis original passion leading to surrealism in the 1920s. Later in life Salvador would lend his talents to graphic arts, film, sculpture, design and photography.
Condition: The image is in excellent condition with no toning from age. The glass display is clear and unmarked. The frame is in excellent condition with only minor marks from prior ownership. The verso is in very good condition.
Provenance: This piece was purchased from an estate sale in Ocean Shores, Washington. No prior ownership information known. Estate sale company information can be provided to buyer upon request.

Policies for Pickup
1. Buyers MUST wear a MASK.
2. Buyers MUST show a copy of your PAID INVOICE (either paper or on your phone).
3. All buyers with invoices over $300 must be prepared to show a photo ID and the credit card used on file before items will be released.
4. No children or animals are allowed on site, as moving furniture and heavy items can be dangerous.
5. Washrooms are not available for use.
6. By departing from the site, you agree that you have all the correct items and are satisfied with them. Before leaving the site please discuss any issues with the MaxSold team lead or the Seller/Representative (for Seller Managed Sales where no MaxSold staff are present).
7. MaxSold team members do not have packing materials and are not allowed to carry or load your purchased items. Please have adequate supplies and help to safely remove your purchases.

Pickup time windows are fixed and limited. You will be required to select a pickup window prior to the auction pickup. Please be sure to select a time slot that you are certain you will be able to attend. Alternate pickup times may or may not be accommodated and if accommodated may result in additional fees.
Claims for refunds can be made only in certain limited circumstances. Where an error in the lot description has occurred on an item you purchased, let the seller (or their representative) know immediately upon pickup so that it may be rectified. Except for limited circumstances, refunds are subject to processing fees.
Maxsold does not arrange shipping; however, you can make your own arrangements at your own risk.
Current bids cannot be changed or removed once submitted and each one is a promise that you will honour the bid and all the terms.
